At the end of last week's episode John was captured and dragged away after he spared Jedekiah's life. This week we'll get to see The Founder's plan for Ultra's former operative.
The Founder revealed during the last episode that his powers of telepathy are better than almost any tomorrow person. According to a sneak peek of tomorrow's episode, he will attempt to gather information from John on the whereabouts of the other rebels. Although John tries to fight back, as you can see from the link, it doesn't go too well.
Many factors are up in the air now for Cara, Stephen, Russell and the rest of the tomorrow people. While Cara and the gang may have been able to learn quite a bit about Jedekiah, The Founder and Stephen's father - Jedekiah was able to learn some info as well. For example, he now knows Cara didn't exactly lose her powers.
This puts both Cara and Stephen in danger. Jedekiah was okay letting Cara live as long as he believed she was powerless. He was also mildly trusting of Stephen as long as he Stephen didn't do anything questionable. Well, now he knows Cara has her powers and he most likely suspects Stephen helped her regain those powers. What will Jedekiah do next?
According to an EW.com sneak peek of this midseason finale, Stephen is going to try and contact his father in Limbo (the blue world in which he saw his father before). Although John reveals to Stephen he shot his father, the young Jameson believes he can bring his dad back if he enters Limbo. However, since Limbo is somewhere between life and death, Stephen is going to have to be near death to reach his dad. Risky, to say the least.
"The Tomorrow People" airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
