Australia will take on England in the first semifinal of the Women's T20 World Cup 2016 at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Australia and New Zealand have qualified for the semifinals from Group A of 10-nation global twenty20 tournament, while, England and West Indies have qualified from Group B. Sri Lanka, South Africa and Ireland from Group A and Pakistan, India and Bangladesh from Group B were eliminated at the group stage.

England sealed a place in semifinals after beating Pakistan by 68 runs in its last group stage match at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday. Skipper Charlotte Edwards' 77-run knock powered England to 148 for five in 20 overs. Pakistan batters, in reply, were bowled out at 80 in 17.5 overs.
"It was important we put on a really good performance, knowing we had to win the game, and it was our best performance of the World Cup so far. We were pretty clinical with bat and ball," England's skipper Charlotte Edwards said. "To have two England semifinals in Delhi on Wednesday will be fantastic, hopefully we can get two wins."
The Southern Stars, on the other hand, entered into semifinals after beating Ireland by seven wickets in their final group stage match on Saturday. The Aussies first restricted the Irish 91 for seven in twenty overs and then comfortably chased down the modest target in 13.2 overs.
