AC Milan and Ajax battle for the runner up spot in Group H on Wednesday to advance in the 2013 Champions League. The match starts at 2:45 p.m. ET (8:45 p.m. local). Watch the live stream below.
Milan (2-2-1) has a one-point lead over Ajax (2-1-2) for second place in Group H, behind first place Barcelona. Milan would need only a draw to advance to the next round of the Champions League, though a win could lift the club to first place depending on the result of the Barcelona/Celtic match.
"(Wednesday's) game is crucial and we will approach it in a determined manner," Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri said, via IB Times. "A draw will be enough for us, but our aim is to win. The stakes are very high so we'll need to concentrate - we can't afford to play for a draw.
"(Ajax) are a young side in good form, but we're the home team. We have to be aggressive and competitive to win the match. So far we've performed well in the Champions League, but we'll need to go up a level tomorrow. The team will have to be patient in possession and the fans have an important role to play."
Ajax, meanwhile, needs a win to earn a spot in the knockout round. The club has won six straight matches in all competition, including an impressive 2-1 win over Barcelona in the Nov. 26 Champions League match.
