Ashley Graham is beyond stunning on the latest cover of Maxim but people have been accusing the magazine of photoshopping the plus-size model.
On the cover, Graham stripped down to show off her incredible curves and covered herself with nothing but a white-button down shirt. Despite the cover stating that Graham is a "natural beauty," the images are still getting slammed as many believe her body was photoshopped. Commenters on social media have pointed out that her arms and legs look much slimmer than the typical photos she posts of herself.
"I agree with all the remarks about the Photoshopping," one user wrote. "It would have [been] great to see you on this cover in true form. It totally defeats your message."
"This is a terrible photoshop job. Why would she post this picture?" someone else commented, while another added, "It's more than airbrush it's a bad photoshop and she is a hypocrite."
Despite the negative comments, several people are praising Graham for the cover as she's become a huge influence in the modeling world. The photographer, Gilles Bensimon, has also denied all the photoshop accusations himself by replying to the haters on Instagram.
"I shoot this image of Ashley, and we don't slimmer her at all!!!" he wrote. "Sorry because you sound so convinced. In fact (almost no photoshop) sorry to disappoint you."
Earlier this year, Graham made history when she landed the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and she had to explain that no photoshop had been used on that cover image, either, as many people were saying similar negative things.
"The [Sports Illustrated editors] did not retouch me," she said at the time. "They did not take out things. They didn't reshape my body in any way, shape or form...I think what's happening is more women who probably didn't even think to pick up the issue are actually going to say, 'Wow, I'm being represented here today. I'm going to take this, look through it and hopefully be empowered.'"
Graham has become a role model and has made a name for herself in the modeling industry because of her curvy figure. She's someone who hopes to make a difference in the world.
"I am hopefully going to change the lives of so many different young women," she explained. "So many young women who have been told their cellulite is ugly, that their inner thighs that jiggle and touch are ugly-because I have all those things-and I'm on the cover of Sports Illustrated. So they must be beautiful."
