Aaron Paul has been cast in an animated Netflix original comedy series, MSN reports, the "Breaking Bad" star set to lend his voice to a new show about the life of a self-deprecating, washed-up TV horse who starred in the fictional family-friendly '90s comedy, "Horsin' Around."
The 12-episode series is set to stream internationally on Netflix next year, featuring voice work by Amy Sedaris and Will Arnett (who will play the self-loathing horse, BoJack) for the 12-episode series, "BoJack Horseman: a Tale of Fear, Loathing and Animals." Paul will voice the horse's human sidekick while Sedaris will voice Princess Caroline, BoJack Horseman's feline agent and ex-lover.
"'BoJack Horseman' is a brutally funny and unique take on what can happen after pop stardom," Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement. "Raphael [Bob-Waksberg, series creator] has created an amazing set of characters voiced by some of the best comics and actors in the world." Naturally, "BoJack" will be geared toward an adult audience.
Since the end of his break-out role as Jesse Pinkman on "Breaking Bad," Aaron Paul has found work in a number of big Hollywood projects, including 2014's "Need for Speed," and the forthcoming biblical epic "Exodus," also set to premiere next year, among several other roles. Paul is also up for a number of Emmy nominations for the final eight episodes of "Breaking Bad" next year.
