Nick Carter and Lauren Kitt are adorably in love and can't wait to welcome their first baby.
The 36-year-old former Backstreet Boys member and his pregnant wife were all smiles on Friday night at the premiere of their latest movie, the SyFy film "Dead 7," which they both star in. Carter, who also co-wrote the film's script, was seen kissing Kitt's baby bump while they walked the red carpet.
Carter couldn't stop gushing over his beautiful wife who told reporters on the red carpet that she's 38 weeks pregnant and having a boy. "We are happy and excited and just emotional this this movie has come to birth as well," Kitt said.
"I can't wait," Carter added. "That's the No. 1 reason why I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life, because I know she is going to be the perfect mother. She is going to be the perfect person to help me, because I don't know everything but I know her intelligence, her heart, her love and her compassion. These are things that my child is going to need."
The singer has been nothing but incredible toward his wife during this time. "It might be TMI, but he helps me shave my legs," Kitt admitted. "It's not sexy, but how sweet is that? I can't reach, but he will shave my legs for me."
The two got married in April 2014 and first announced that they were expecting in November when Carter was competing last season on "Dancing With The Stars." After dancing to "Can't Help Falling In Love" with his partner Sharna Burgess, and receiving a perfect score, they made their announcement and opened a box, which let out blue balloons.
"I wanted to make it the best it can be for my wife, my future child, for Sharna, just to make it something that we could always remember because it was so important and it was so special," Carter said following the announcement. "it was surreal to get the 10s - finally a perfect score! I was blown away...I'm so happy that this was the night that it happened."
"Words cannot express how enamored and proud I am of my husband and father of our future son," Kitt captioned a photo at the time. "Last night being chosen as his 'Icon and Hero' is beyond anything I would have imagined. I always think I know the parameters of his love and he continues to show me that it is indeed endless. I know that love will spread to our son and he will have the great honor of calling Nick his dad. Thank you my love for all that you do and all that you are and everything you are yet to be."
