New York Yankees' Starlin Castro Rips 2-Run Double In Debut; Ninja Turtles Sit In Legends Seats

On the New York Yankees' Opening Day, Starlin Castro made a good impression with his new team and HBO's John Oliver got his wish.

Castro ripped a two-run double in his first official at-bat with the Yankees to put the team up 2-0 against the Houston Astros. He charged Dallas Keuchel, the reigning AL Cy Young winner, with his first earned runs of the 2016 MLB season.

New York acquired Castro from the Chicago Cubs this offseason in a trade for pitcher Adam Warren. The 26-year-old is now the Yankees' starting second baseman as he pairs with shortstop Didi Gregorius in the middle infield. Castro, a three-time All-Star, endured a down campaign in 2015, but made up for it with his performance during the second half of the year.

Overall, he finished hitting .265/.296/.375 with 52 runs scored, 11 home runs and 69 RBI in 151 games.

Check out his double off Keuchel below:

As for John Oliver, the comedian and host of HBO's Last Week Tonight is not a Yankees fan because of their absurd ticket prices and snobby outlook in terms of making it nearly impossible for non-filthy-rich people to sit in the "rich people" seats, otherwise known as the "Legends Suites." As a result, Oliver took a stand.

He purchased six total seats in the Legends Suites at Yankees Stadium for the first three home games and offered them up for a quarter a piece to fans - under one condition.

"You must dress like you have never sat in a premium location before," Oliver said on Sunday's show. "What that means is up to you."

Fans were asked to submit their outfits to Last Week Tonight's Twitter account, and two ninja turtles won the first pair of tickets for Tuesday's game.

We'll just have to wait and see who gets the next two pairs of tickets for Wednesday and Thursday as Oliver hopes to shove it to the "biggest elitist a-holes in all of sports."
