Americans Hire Professionals To Deck Up Their House For Christmas: Costs Go Upto $80,000

Christmas décor, the chain of Christmas décor shops has got over 40,000 clients across U.S.. It has seen an yearly increase of 11 percent in business over the past four years.

Vance Brand, another Christmas light decorator with more than 1,500 clients in Utah and Colorado, said to the newspaper that his business has grown 22 percent a year since 2008.

Christmas décor has moved forward from simple Christmas lights to varied shades and sizes, which glow according to background music in coordination. The competition is fierce and the companies start working on innovative offerings six months in advance.

The technologies are improving by the day. Chuck Smith who works for Light-O-Rama is known as the master of Christmas lighting technology. "Everyone looks to Chuck Smith for technical solutions to phenomenal lighting opportunities," said David Fred, CEO of Winterland Inc., a 300-employee company that specializes in Christmas light displays, according to a report in Washington Post. "He's probably done more and done it better than anyone else."
