Most smartphone manufacturers are shifting focus to safety apps/ features for people while travelling. Nokia came up with Here Drive and Here Transit app for Windows phone a few months ago, and Apple is now following suite.
Apple rolled its second beta version of iOS 7.1 to selected developers on Friday. The beta version reportedly includes fixes to many of the bugs faced in iOS 7. The features on the second beta version for iOS 7.1 seem quite impressive but the most noteworthy element is a setting on the 'restriction' menu that lets users choose between car display on and off. This may be an indication of Apple getting ready to include the highly anticipated 'Car' feature on iOS 7.1.( the next iOS 7 update).
Apple is in constant efforts to make its products better than its former versions. iOS 7 that was released in September, unfortunately it did not include the Car feature, reports CNet.
The Car feature will allow the Apple users to integrate any iOS device with the car and help them keep a better tab on the music, messages and maps received while driving the car. "iOS in the Car seamlessly integrates your iOS device - and the iOS experience - with your in-dash system, reads the official Apple site. "Now you can easily and safely make phone calls, access your music, send and receive messages, get directions, and more."
However, the Cupertino-based tech giant has not come up with any official confirmation on the same as of now.
Alongside the probable Car feature we may get to see a lot other improvements on iOS 7.1 like Touch ID and pass code settings. The second round beta version will make the operating system act faster and smoother. The iTunes match library will get loaded much quicker, reports BGR.
Many of the users encountered problems with their iCloud accounts on iOS 7 while trying to enable iCloud Key chain; the second beta version has a solution to that and also covers up for the audio books that often failed to play.
