‘RHOBH’ Star Yolanda Foster Said She Was ‘Blindsided’ By Divorce From David Foster [VIDEOS]

The divorce of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Hadid Foster and David Foster took many by surprise- even Foster herself.

The 52-year-old stopped by Andy Cohen's talk show "Watch What Happens Live" Tuesday night to discuss the unexpected breakup and answered some questions about the current state of the former couple's relationship.

"At what point while taping the show did you know that your marriage was ending and why not tell you friends?" Cohen asked Foster, who knew the date of the end of her marriage.

"I didn't know it was ended until November 15," the Dutch model-turned reality star replied. "We had already wrapped shooting, and the show was done. I know exactly the day: November 15."

Foster then said that the two exes still communicate, but not too often.

"We are in touch a little bit, here and there," she told Cohen.

The reality star and her ex-husband announced their divorce in December 2015 after four years of marriage, but they were together for nine years in total.

"Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple said in a statement at the time. "We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues."

During Hadids appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," Cohen played a special sneak peak at the upcoming "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reunion in which he questions Foster about her ongoing battle with Lyme disease and whether or not her medical problems had anything to do with her marriage falling apart.

"You can't underestimate how much it takes for a man to take care of somebody that's sick all of the time," Hadid said. "David didn't change - I'm the one that changed. And, you know, I guess this is the outcome of that."

She then confessed that she thought it was unfair that her ex got a lot of negative attention for not wanting to be with her while she was sick.

The reality star confessed that she thought no one should "criticize that," but she did admit to feeling "blindsided" by the divorce.

"I didn't think that was the end of the road," she added. "I would have hoped to wait until I got 100 percent well."

The first part of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reunion airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
