The rest of you, let's continue:
Here are the top five moments from the "Revenge" midseason finale - Exodus.
No. 5 - Lydia confronts Emily
Last episode we found out Lydia wasn't exactly done with Emily. She went through Conrad's files and found the picture that Emily had altered - the one that shows Emily at the Grayson's party with black hair. She confronts Emily - adding more problems on Emily's wedding day. Emily thinks she's dealt with Lydia when she gets Aiden to give Lydia the deed to her house. However, Lydia is far from done with Emily.
No. 4 - Patrick Returns
Conrad - yes Conrad - brings Patrick back when Emily tells him Victoria wasn't planning to go to the wedding. (Emily needs Victoria there if her plan is going to go through.) Conrad figured he'd have one of Victoria's sons convince her to support the other one. Nolan was also happy to see Patrick back but was soon instructed by Emily to make sure he wasn't on the boat to Nantucket. Nolan uses his knowledge of Patrick's murder attempt to lure him to the house while the boat was setting sale. He eventually confesses his love for Patrick. However, while Nolan goes to take a shower, Patrick finds a remote that pushes back a painting to reveal Nolan's safe.
No. 3 - The not so ideal wedding
Both Daniel and Emily have arrived at the altar and just by looking at the bride and the groom you can tell neither are enjoying this. Daniel is still thinking about Sarah who came by his job earlier to wish him farewell. Emily is thinking about how this wedding marks the final step in her plan to take down the Graysons. At one point Emily has to tell Daniel to slow down his drinking. He's - as his mother points out - self medicating and doesn't appear to be happy. He even leaves a voicemail for Sara during his wedding reception. Things only get weirder for the Graysons as Conrad invites Lydia on the family cruise to Nantucket.
No. 2 - The set-up
Emily devised the perfect plan to frame Victoria. Aiden would place the gun -bought in Victoria's name - on deck. Next, while everyone on the ship is watching a Grayson family slideshow, Emily would spill something on Victoria's dress before walking out to the deck. Victoria would have to retire to a room on the ship to change, leaving Aiden the opportunity to lock her in that room. Emily would then spill a vile with her own blood on the deck and fire two shots with the gun before jumping into the ocean. Presto, Victoria has a shaky alibi and the frame job is complete. However, a few things went wrong. First, Sarah began to drink heavily at the Stowaway and even tried hook up with Jack. Jack called her a cab. That turned out to be the beginning of Emily's problems:
--Lydia showed Victoria the picture of Emily at the Grayson party years ago
--Daniel got a call that Sarah tried to kill herself
--Victoria confronted Emily. She got Emily to admit the pregnancy was fake. Aiden chloroformed Victoria and carried her away according to plan. However, Daniel - who is already distraught the girl he really loves just tried to kill herself - overheard the admission. Crying and angry...
No. 1....Daniel shot Emily.
Yup, it was Daniel. He shot Emily, she fell overboard and he proceeded to rush back to room in which his family was watching the slideshow. The crew, realizing someone fell overboard, rushed into action as Daniel stood in the middle of the room with a blank look on his face.
Now, earlier in the episode Emily visited Jack at the Stowaway to tell him goodbye. The moment was ruined when Emily told Jack she was with Amanda when Amanda died. Emily explained why she was able to save Jack but when she went back for his wife it was too late. Jack became frustrated that Emily waited to tell him this and once again berated Emily for how selfish she was when it came to her plan. The two had another argument that probably hurt Jack/Emily shippers everywhere. However, Jack later found Amanda's necklace in an envelope with his name on it - a parting gift from Emily.
Jack returned to the beach to give Emily the necklace before she and Aiden disappeared, feeling it was something she should keep. However the only person Jack saw at the beach was Aiden. Aiden was surprised to see Jack and the two soon realized Emily was missing. Pretty soon Emily's bloody dress washed ashore. The two men went from concerned to flat out worried, as the search for the new Mrs. Grayson began.
So the questions is, where is Emily?
