Thursday has come around once again, which means that Nintendo is offering a new batch of digital games and add-ons available for fans to download on various Nintendo platforms.
As noted by Nintendo, the offerings update weekly, making new games available on eShop for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds, the Nintendo DSi shop for the Nintendo DSi system and the Wii Shop Channel for the Wii console. The systems feature parental controls, allowing adults to manage the content that their children can access.
Here is a list of new games, add-ons and discounted ones, according to a press release:

In addition, the 3DS has three new themes available on the theme shop. The first is based off of the newly-released "Star Fox Zero," the second is based off of the popular "Shovel Knight," while the last is based off of Plague Knight from the same game.
The notable offering from Nintendo this week is "Xenoblade Chronicles." Rather than an upcoming game, "XBC" is fairly old and came out for the Wii in 2010. Despite it's age, the game was popular enough to earn a port to the New 3DS called "Xenoblade Chronicles 3D" in 2015, while the main character, Shulk, became a playable character in the latest Smash Brothers game. With that in mind, this is a great chance to get a solid JRPG for the Wii U if you missed out on the original and don't own a New 3DS.
Most recently, a spiritual successor for the game, titled "Xenoblade Chronicles X," came out in December, while developer Monolith Soft, which is also responsible for the tactical RPG series "Project X Zone," is reportedly working on a new title.
