Season 7 of the Bravo reality show "Real Housewives of Atlanta" could be seeing one less cast member. According to the gossip site Media Take Out, sources close to the show said Porsha Stewart was fired on Dec. 16 and won't be making an appearance for the new season.
Reportedly an official announcement will be made by Bravo on Dec. 20. The source said producers decided to cut her storyline because "she's a mix of boring and annoying, [and] neither is good for TV."
On the current season of the show fans saw her marriage to Kordell Stewart fall apart. Apparently producers felt the drama surrounding the divorce would keep fans interested in her storyline but that's proving not to be true. Following the divorce Stewart moved back in with her mom and has been trying to adjust to her newly singled life.
Not only is Stewart reportedly leaving the show but the source also told the site that a second housewife will be asked not to return after this season. Do you think it will be Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Nene Leakes or Phaedra Parks?
Recently Twitter users slammed Stewart for comments she made about the Underground Railroad. During a sneak preview of Sunday's episode, the 32-year-old told the ladies and tour guide that she thought the Underground Railroad was an actual railroad system complete with trains and everything.
In the clip the ladies went to different historical landmarks including a safe house used by slaves in the Underground Railroad. The guide was explaining that it remains a mystery how the slaves traveled in and out of the building to which Stewart replies, "Well, there has to be an opening for the railroad at some point because somebody is driving the train."
"It wasn't a train, baby," Phaedra Parks tells her. "That's just a euphemism."
