Donald Trump has said some pretty shocking things over the course of his quest to become the next president of the United States of America. While Trump may think he is qualified to be elected as president, the folks over at "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" thought the GOP frontrunner would be better suited for a different career: rapper.
On Thursday night's episode, "The Daily Show" premiered a rap called "They Love Me," which used all real things Trump has said as rap lyrics. The song was performed by "Senior Trump Analyst" Roy Wood Jr., who sang the rap as Black Trump, along with his hype man Jordan Klepper.
"Honestly Trevor, Trump doesn't belong in the White House. [He] belongs in a rap video," Wood explained before they showed the video. "Everything Trump says is straight out of a rapper's playbook. He brags about his money, he's disrespectful to women, and there's always fights at his concerts... He's just saying stuff the same way rappers just say stuff. Do you really think Jay Z has 99 problems? He's a billionaire! At the most, he's got 12 problems."
"What about 'Lemonade'?" Noah asked Wood Jr. of Beyonce's new album, which strongly suggested that Jay Z cheated on her.
"Okay, 13," Wood admitted.
During the music video for "They Love Me," Black Trump popped bottles on a fancy-looking golf course, partied at a mansion, surrounded himself with women and even showered himself in money. The video also flashed the lyrics of the song on the screen, along with the exact date that Trump said them.
"I have a great relationship with the blacks / Politicians all talk and no action," Black Trump rapped. I was down there at 7/11 / I spent almost nothing on my run for president / All the women flirted with me on 'The Apprentice'/ If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her / We have to have wall / Don, who's doing the raping?"
The video also highlighted how many times Trump has contradicted himself, using quotes like "Nobody has more respect for women," then following up that line with "Heidi Klum, sadly, no longer a 10."
