Thursday has come around once again, which means that Nintendo is offering a new batch of digital games and add-ons available for fans to download on various Nintendo platforms.
As noted by Nintendo, the offerings update weekly, making new games available on eShop for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds, the Nintendo DSi shop for the Nintendo DSi system and the Wii Shop Channel for the Wii console. The systems feature parental controls, allowing adults to manage the content that their children can access.

The notable offering this week is "Super Punch-Out!!" which is the SNES sequel to the classic "Punch-Out!" on the original NES. Part of the series' appeal is that unlike most games nowadays where players can just beat on their opponents with raw power, all of the enemies in this game are significantly bigger than you, so brute force isn't an option. Instead, the player needs to rely on speed and precision by looking for small visual cues, or "tells," that the opponent gives, which signifies when to attack or when to dodge and which direction to do so.
A secret was recently discovered in the original game by a Reddit user named midwesternhousewives, which makes it easier to identify when you need to counterattack an opponent. Specifically, a bearded man in the left of the audience will duck to signify just exactly when to throw a punch. If timed correctly, a Little Mac punch will instantly knock down the opponent over.
