Channing Tatum Is Bringing A Live Version Of ‘Magic Mike’ To Las Vegas [VIDEO]

Get ready ladies - a live “Magic Mike” male revue is coming to Sin City!

The bad news? Channing Tatum will not be starring in it.

However, Tatum is producing the project that Cosmopolitan.com is partnering with him on. He will also direct the show, which will be choreographed by Alison Faulk and Teresa Espinosa, who both worked on the “Magic Mike” and “Magic Mike XXL” films.

The premise of the show was revealed Wednesday night at Hearst’s NewFront event complete with a performance by its studly cast set to the Ginuwine song “Pony.”

“Magic Mike Live,” which will be hitting Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in March 2017, “will recreate the mythic Club Domina with a sizzling 360-degree dance and acrobatic strip tease spectacular, guaranteed to bring on the heat.”

“‘Magic Mike’ has been a very personal project for me, and this show is a natural extension of that,” Tatum said. “So while I won’t be on stage as Mike, ‘Magic Mike Live’ is my vision, and I’m looking forward to spending a lot of time in Las Vegas creating something that will give women what they really want.”

Tatum promised that the show will be geared towards females. “Even when I was actually stripping, it didn’t feel like it was for the women,” he added. “It felt like it was more for the guy to go up and feel good about himself. It was like, ‘Hey, look at me.’ It was in the glam rock [era] where dudes thought they were rock stars and they were sort of living out these fantasies.”

Additionally, Tatum claimed that “Magic Mike Live” won’t be sleazy, but more like a Playboy Club for women. “[You shouldn’t feel] nervous to go there because you feel unsafe; we want to create the polar opposite of that,” he explained.

To help women get - ahem - excited for the live event, Tatum and the show’s sexy strippers filmed a video featuring the guys doing household chores and playing with adorable puppies.

“God knows we have enough gentlemen’s clubs in this world, let’s start the first gentleladies’ club - or maybe not so gentle, it depends on what you’re into,” he said in the hot clip, which you can view below.
