Stoke City plays Manchester United on Wednesday in the 2013 Capital One Cup quarterfinals. The match starts at 2:45 p.m. ET. A link to the live stream is provided below.
Stoke City heads into Wednesday's quarterfinal with a loaded Premier League schedule on the horizon. The club is ranked No. 13 in the Premier League with a 4-6-6 record and is looking to make a push in the standings. Despite four League games between Wednesday and Jan. 1, Stoke City boss Mark Hughes plans to use a strong lineup in the Capital One outing.
"I am aware of the fixtures coming up, and the closeness of matches," Hughes told BBC. "This is a game that we want to win, and that will be shown in the team I select.
"You do have to be conscious of certain things over this period, because you don't want to burn out your players, but at the same time you want to win matches too - whether they be in the Premier League or in the cup competitions."
Manchester United boss David Moyes, however, may opt for a different lineup for Wednesday, according to BBC. United is ranked No. 8 in the Premier League with a 7-4-5 record. Because of the upcoming Premier League matches and other European commitments, Moyes may choose to rest several key players on Wednesday.
"We have a squad of players who can all play in any game," said Moyes. "We have a lot of games coming up and I will see who I think is ready."
