Amy King, Jim Bob Duggar's niece, is reportedly filming her marital life for a reality show of her own.
New reports suggest Amy and husband Dillon were recently in LA, with a camera crew in tow. Word has it the duo had filmed for VH1's Couples Therapy. While they did not explain their LA trip, speculation is rife the couple is doing all it can to get rid of $ 52,000 debt.
Earlier this year an Arkansas hospital sued Dillon King for defaulting on medical payments. King was publicly listed a defaulter in a local newspaper, throwing light on the couple's struggling financial condition. Since Amy, a family rebel, does not have stake in what the Duggars make through their television appearances, she has to fend for herself. A show on her marital troubles and subsequent therapy could be interesting to Duggar fans.
Even as Amy and Dillon try to work their lives around, the Duggars are reportedly having a hard time convincing TLC to renew Jill & Jessa: Counting On for a third season. Reports claimed advertisers were not keen on being featured during the Duggars' show. 19 Kids and Counting was pulled off air last year after Josh Duggar confessed to molesting minors as a teenager.
A series of revelations about Josh, including his Ashley Madison account, dented the Duggars' reputation as a god-fearing family of virtues. The family received brickbats from fans and critics. Duggars have now reportedly launched a social media effort to salvage Jill and Jessa.
Meanwhile, rumors that Josh Duggar may go on an apology tour are doing the rounds. His parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar may be backing him on what is being perceived as Josh's efforts to get back into the limelight.
