Hayden Christensen was known for his iconic Star Wars role as Anakin Skywalker aka Lord Darth Vader in "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" which hit the theaters more than a decade ago. The villain was not included in the "Star Wars: Episode VIII" storyline. However, Christensen said he would love to reprise his villainous role if given a chance to be part of the cast for the upcoming eighth installment to the Star Wars franchise.
The last time the actor was seen doing screen roles was last year when he starred in "90 Minutes in Heaven" alongside Kate Bosworth and Hudson Meek. Back in 2015, the Star Wars actor said that he would "absolutely" say yes "in a heartbeat" if he was given the opportunity to reprise his Darth Vader role again while promoting "90 Minutes In Heaven" on "eTalk Canada."
"Oh absolutely yeah, no, in a heartbeat for sure. Being a part of that world was a huge deal for me and you know, was a good four five years of my life and I have fond memories and good friendships from that whole time, but I don't know, if they ever gave me the call I'd sign up in a heartbeat yeah," said Christensen as quoted by Movie Pilot.
Meanwhile, fans are intrigued whether the leaked "Episode 8" script allegedly showing Rey's true parentage have credible weight or not. As per Digital Spy report, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker reportedly revealed to Rey who her parents are and warned her of an impending dilemma that she will face later on.
While Star Wars fans remain largely excited despite spoilers making rounds online, they seem to remain largely excited to know more about Rey's parentage. Moreover, many of them also expressed worries about the fate of the original characters. Han Solo's death in The Force Awakens did cause so much heartbreak causing fans to fear that Resistance leader Princess Leia Organa may soon follow her deceased husband to the other side.
In a related development, iDigital Times suggests that Leia may still be alive despite Han Solo's loss but she may not get significant amount of screen time following her ouster as the chief leader of the Resistance.
