Iggy Azalea and Nick Young pulled the plug after nearly three years of dating and an engagement announcement in 2015. And for those hoping for a second chance with the popstar trusting the basketball star again, a source reported that the possibility of rekindling their love might be a remote one.
"This relationship is not repairable at this point because Iggy just can't trust Nick. Iggy and Nick haven't been the same since that video was leaked a few weeks ago. She tried to put it behind her, but she still did not trust him. She was questioning so many things about what he was doing since that was leaked," a source said.
Another source also revealed that their relationship has not been the same after the cheating scandal in which Nick boasted about his adventures with women, particularly that with a 19-year old girl he met at the club this summer. The conversation with Young and Russell d'Angelo has been of the locker room rumors of the NBA and has become viral ever since.
"[Azalea's questioning] was driving Nick crazy. The relationship just was not the same. They can't predict the future but, as of now, it's done."
It can be remembered on March this year, D' Angelo came to defend Young in a press conference stressing that the conversation should have never been made public.
"This just got in the wrong hands. It wasn't a prank. It wasn't something for everybody else to see. It was for my eyes, his eyes only. That was it," the LA Lakers player announced that time.
Despite the rumors, the Australian rapper remained strong saying she is still in a relationship with Young. However, she also did not conceal the change of her tone towards him.
"'hmmm i see D'Angelo Russell is trending... I actually liked his film. Thanks bro." the Fancy crooner tweeted after the leak.
In a previous interview with Ryan Seacrest, she revealed her plans to postpone the wedding.
"I'm planning my wedding, actually moved my wedding 'cause I have to tour so my wedding plans are changing," she announced.
As of Sunday this week, both Iggy Azalea and Nick Young announced that they are moving on from their relationship with the NBA player posting, 'Single' in his Twitter.
Meanwhile, the Black Widow singer also wanted the Lakers star ousted from her life as soon as possible as seen in recent photos where Nick's blue 1962 Chevy Impala was removed from her Los Angeles home. The classic car is Iggy's 2014 Christmas gift to Nick Young.
