According to Sportsrageous, professor Jean-Francois Payen, the head of the Schumi's medical team commended Corinna for her incredible strength, support and willpower for supporting her husband throughout extremely difficult time.
Michael and Corinna married in 1995 and has two children together ( Mick Schumacher, Gina-Maria Schumacher). Corinna Betsch-Schumacher is a German equestrienne who got the gold medal in the 2010 European Championships. She is also a PETA ambassador.
"She has displayed in every way an exceptional willpower," Payen told Daily Express. "She knew the seriousness of the situation and the long road that lay before them. She looks at things very clearly and makes every effort."
In December 2013, Schumacher had very bad head injury while skiing. He placed in a medically induced coma and he was in the coma for six months from 29 December 2013 until 16 June 2014.
