Apple fans and enthusiasts are now waiting for the launch of much awaited MacBook Pro and Air 2016. These two laptops were initially anticipated to be launched in March, but the event came and went by with no news about the MacBook. Then it was anticipated that MacBook Pro and Air will be announced at WWDC this year, but that too was a no show. However, reports indicate that MacBook Pro 2016 will be launched with several enhancements. But the fans remain hopeful for the new MacBook Pro model to launch this year.
As per reports, the recent WWDC event by Apple failed to impress the Apple fans and tech enthusiasts alike. The company did not reveal any hardware enhancement, but only software. However, the team is reportedly working very hard to improve overall user experience. Rumor has it that MacBook Pro will introduce an OLED bar above its keyboard that will come equipped with touchscreen feature so that the users can access their favorite apps and controls easily.
Even though the MacBook Air and Pro models remained absent at two major Apple events, the fans are hopeful that the device will be launched this year. The new Pro model is rumored to be powered by SkyLake Processor and retina display.
According to Apple Insider, Apple stores will do away with their 13-inch non-retina MacBook Pro models from their stores. From the looks of it, the company may be paving way for their upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 with Retina display.
There is also speculation that MacBook Air will launch sooner than MacBook Pro. However, MacBook Air models are non-Retina display variants, and now that the company is phasing out non-Retina laptops, rumors indicate that Air may have retina display too.
The company is expected to launch MacBook Air and Pro by the fourth quarter this year. Even though Apple has officially revealed its launch date, the fans are hoping that it will be sometime this year.
