'Transformers 5: The Last Knight' News & Update: Final Cast of the Movie Revealed; Stars from First ‘Transformers’ Film to Reprise their Roles

According to news reports, Tyrese Gibson had expressed his interest to be a part of the upcoming "Transformers" and at BET Awards, he confirmed his appearance in "Transformers: The Last Knight." It is now official that he will appear as soldier Robert Epps.

Many chief characters were introduced in Transformers who reportedly joined hands with Autobots to defeat Decepticons, Robert Epps and William Lennox were one of them. Their characters joined NEST (Non-Biological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty) after being promoted in "Revenge of the Fallen." The two characters went their own ways as Lennox stayed with NEST as colonel in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," and Epps took retirement from being a NEST soldier. He instead started working at a NASA launch site, working on a space ship, thanks to his military skills.

In "Transformers: Age of Extinction," many robots were seen coming back in their disguises and new characters developed in the film. However, in the upcoming installment of "Transformers" some new faces can be seen, that include Mark Wahlberg, Isabela Moner playing Izabella, the female lead; Mitch Pileggi, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and most interestingly, Anthony Hopkins.
