‘Star Wars: Battlefront' News And Rumors: Offline Single Player Mode May Come Out Soon

For a long time, "Star Wars: Battlefront" fans have demanded an offline single player mode of the hit Sci-Fi FPS game from EA DICE. A new report making rounds online indicate that an offline instant action mode may come out soon for players who prefer a single player campaign.

As revealed by Reddit user who goes by the name "uninspired zebra," an Instant Action menu has been uncovered in the game's hidden files. The "Instant Action" epic play is suitable for lone-wolf-type of players or for those who wish to enjoy it with a game buddy. The offline single player mode features Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron- two missions that also appear in Battlefront multiplayer mode. However, there were no details suggesting when the offline mode will be rolled out.

It can be recalled that DICE's Mat Everett and Josh Walsh already pledged to bring in more offline content to the game as they bow down to incessant pressure from "StarWars: Battlefront" fans.

"We will be bringing more offline content to Star Wars: Battlefront. Once the team is ready to share and reveal those details, we will," said Everett as per BitBag. Information remains scarce but the announcement does make fans feel a little more delighted for the offline content addition in the near future.

In another Battlefront related news, the Bespin DLC has already been made available for download for season pass holders since June 21. Non-season pass holders may need to wait for the expansion to arrive two weeks later.

As per Movie News Guide, Bespin comes with a raft of new features and other changes. The latest expansion adds five new maps on the Cloud City plus two new weapons called X-8 Night Sniper and EE-4. Other content additions include Star Cards like Shock Grenade, Scout Binoculars and Disruption.

Two new characters are also introduced in the latest update, namely, Lando Calrissian and Dengar. Moreover, a 32-player mode (16v16) called "Sabotage" is added with features quite different from what has already been seen in the game.

According to VG247, Rebels must blow up the Empire's Tibanna Gas Generators that power the tractor beams which prevent the renegades from escaping the Cloud City of Bespin. After the destruction of the generators by the Rebels, the Empire must hunt them down and stop them at the extraction point to prevent them from escaping.
