When the negotiations for the cast of "The Big Bang Theory" didn't move forward after season 10, the fans feared the worst. However, even though Melissa Rauch (Bernadette Rostenkowski), Kaley Cuoco (Penny) and Kunnal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali) were happy to continue on the show, CBS was yet to give a go ahead for season 11.
According to recent reports, "TBBT" producer was optimistic that season 10 will be followed by more episodes. However, the show's focus is to make each and every episode count. As season 9 concluded, the viewership of "The Big Bang Theory" had already reached 20 million viewers per episode. It is the show's popularity that puts the lead cast and rest of the gang members to negotiate from a position of strength.
Previous reports indicate that Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco negotiated to $1 Million per episode of "The Big Bang Theory." While the negotiations are still in order, the fans hope that it will not delay the production of season 11, as it did for season 8.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 premiere date is set for October 27.
