Daenerys Targaryen has finally managed to cross the narrow sea and is now on her way to Westeros. At the same time, season 6 finale, "The Winds of Winter" crowned Jon Snow as the King of the North, assuming that he is Ned Stark's bastard.
According to recent reports, it has been pointed out that the L+R=J theory is a mere implication that Jon Snow is their son, not a gospel of truth. Ancestry notwithstanding, there has been a possibility of marriage between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen and this theory has been proposed for quite sometime.
However, season 7 is going to be a lot more than just an incestuous union that Targaryens are known for. In previous episodes, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen have both been called as the "one who was promised" on separate occasions by Melisandre (Carice Van Houten) and Kinvara (Ania Bukstein). "Game of Thrones" Season 7, however, is more complex than incestuous marriage. According to the "Game of Thrones" prophecy, the One Who is Promised is actually a reincarnated version of Azor Ahai. When this savior fulfils the prophecy, the warrior (either Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen) will have to sacrifice their spouse in order to unlock the power of Lightbringer, a burning sword.
It is this sword that will help the people of Westeros win the ultimate war against the real villains of "Game of Thrones," the White Walkers. Marriage in season 7 will bode ill for the people involved. This means that if Jon or Daenerys secretly consider themselves as Azor Ahai, then there will be bitter death in the upcoming season.
In season 7, there is also a possibility that Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) will emerge as the rightful queen of the North. Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) may also further decode his visions from the Tower of Joy, thus true parentage of Jon Snow will be revealed on the show.
There is a common "Game of Thrones" fan belief that Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow are the elements of "A Song of Ice and Fire."
