Jozea Flores, the second evictee of the current season has been shown the exit door but his spirits are certainly not down.
The L.A. based model and makeup artist said in a post-eviction interview that he thinks he still has a chance. He was also very clear about his strategy and rejected the idea of forming an alliance with the returning players from the past seasons on the current season. In fact, he was quite acerbic in his assessment of the returning players.
Referring to them as scum-sucking roadbags, he said that the newbies had the chance to get everyone of them out of the house. He expressed his belief in the new players and also said that watching more Big Brother seasons, before entering the house, would not have helped him.
Well, Jozea's confidence is not unwarranted. The current season has introduced a twist called 'Battle Back,' which allows all the five of the first evicted houseguests a chance to compete to get back into the game. And Jozea feels that he and his former allies Victor and Paul will be at the top of the list of those who will come home with the top prize.
However, the return is not going to be easy as Jozea will have to compete against Glenn Garcia, the first evictee of the current season. Jozea, by his own admission, has a soft corner for the 50-year-old and he is regretting that he would have to fight against someone for whom he harbors genuine affection.
He said that it makes him sad to know that he would be battling Glenn. But he added that whether he wins or loses, they will remain friends. Last but not the least, he said that it is an honor to battle a sweet guy like him and he deserves a fair game.
Well, this is definitely good news for Jozea's fans. But they will have to wait for three more weeks to know if he is returning or not as the completion will air on July 22, in a special episode on Friday.
