Code Black News Update: Rob Lowe To Be Back To TV With The Show

Good news for all the Rob Lowe’s fans - He is going to be back on television again. After a short span of absence, television world is all set to welcome Rob Lowe once again. Rob Lowe was last seen in 'The Grinder,' aired on Fox. He featured in 22 episodes of the show, however, the show was cancelled in its first season only.

Code Black is ready to release its second season, featuring Rob as a military doctor, who will cause some commotion in Angels Memorial. The show is prepared to present Rob in the premier of the season, to be held on September 28, on CBS.

According to reports, Rob’s character in the series, Colonel Ethan Willis, has a badass attitude, and will never be afraid of going against the rules. He was welcomed by Dr. Leanne Rorish, played by Marcia Gay Harden. In the previous season, she had portrayed a similar rule-breaking character.

Rob’s casting in Code Black is a part of the major cast in Season 2. Last month Code Black announced two major departs from the casts – Bonnie Somerville and Raza Jaffrey, who played Neal and Christa. After the overhauls of two viewers’ favorites, the show planned to cast young stars and the upcoming season will feature Noah Gray-Cabey, Emily Tyra and Nafessa Williams.

Rob’s recent Instagram updates stating about the exciting news has also raised the level of excitement among the fans too. The fans even correlated the sudden cancellation of the show, ‘The Grinder’ and the start of Code Black as soon as they got the news and many felt that the former would be back on screen soon. However, as of now Lowe will be back on television every week, with the show Code Black only.
