'Teen Wolf' Season 6 returns this fall and a lot of it will revolve around Scott McCall. The character will undergo changes and fans should get ready to watch him in a new light.
This has been revealed by none other than Tyler Posey himself, who plays Scott on the MTV werewolf series. He revealed that Scott will not be the same self that he has been all these five seasons when he returns in season 6. He will have a somewhat laidback period, which is quite good given the tough Season 5 where he was fighting Theo and the Dread Doctors.
The actor added that the events of Season 5 have made him stronger and therefore when he comes back in Season 6, he will have a mature head on his shoulders. Since nothing bad has happened in Beacon Hills of late, he is also confident and in a pretty good place. So, when Season 6 picks him up, he will be somewhat happy, which is a little unusual for him.
Well, all of this sounds interesting but some fans are still sullen over the fact that Kira Yukimura (played by Arden Cho) will no longer be by his side. The budding love interest of Scott has been put on hold and there is no indication that a new love interest would be introduced.
Showrunner Jeff Davis has said that Scott may end up staying single for a while. According to him, it makes for a great idea as he will be able to focus on what he wants and Tyler Posey is also happy with the change his character will be undergoing.
The show has always shown him in a relationship and this break will be quite a welcome change. He started out with Allison and they were in a relationship but after her demise, he met Kira and it was clearly visible that the two had feelings for each other.
Interestingly, Posey is also single in real life at present and thus, he can easily relate with what Scott is undergoing on the show.
