According to the latest reports, the villain portrayed by Marvel Comics has a big head and looks a lot like Donald Trump. His skin has an orange hue and white eyes with tiny hands. The villain has also been given an interesting name, M.O.D.A.A.K., an acronym for "Mental Organism Designed As America's King." Coincidence? We think not.
Twitter was the first one to piece it altogether and said that M.O.D.A.A.K. is a Trump double. This character debuted in the latest issue of Spider-Gwen, a Marvel comic. According to the storyline, M.O.D.A.A.K. is fighting a losing battle with female Captain America.
This is not the first time that a famous pubic figure has been touted as a supervillain and Donald Trump is definitely not an artist's first time. When some artists were gathered together to sketch Donald Trump as a villain at Comic Con in New York, Nathan Fox, a renowned cartoonist drew a sketch that looks strikingly similar to M.O.D.A.A.K. If nothing else, this villain is definitely inspired from someone we know.
Donald Trump just joined many other presidential candidates who made their way into comic books as cartoon characters. However, this will be the first time that a candidate has been depicted as a villain.
Marvel Entertainment CEO, Isaac "Ike" Perlmutter, donated a staggering sum of $1 Million to Donald Trump's fundraiser earlier this year. This generous donation made many fans wonder if Perlmutter is indeed a Trump supporter. As a result, many comic book fans became fearful and anxious of this support.
"A lot of readers were concerned that this was a sort of Chick-fil-A scenario," writer G. Willow Wilson said. "In this particular case, since Perlmutter was publicly linked to Marvel [by Trump]... it sort of raised a lot of fears in the minds of readers about it being very difficult to disentangle the connection between art, politics, and money."
