It was coming. The moment Ridge decided to come clean about Douglas, every viewer of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' knew that more drama is on the horizon and now it is beginning to spill out.
According to reports, a lot of juicy stuff awaits fans. Ridge's revelation has caused a good deal of chaos at Forrester Creations and now things will take dramatic turns. Ridge and Caroline's secret had been making noise for a while and when Thomas decided to lift the veil of secrecy, it was clear that his action would affect the position of CEO at Forrester Creations.
And now that the secret is out in the open, Ridge is worried about his career. With Rick all excited to grab his position and take over the CEO role, Ridge is definitely not in a safe place and he knows that the coming times do not bode well for him.
On the other hand, Steffy will also feel the impact of this disclosure. She was not aware that Thomas was actually Douglas' father and now that she knows, she will confront his father when he is alone. She will ask him why did he lie to everybody for so long and it remains to be seen if he will be able to convince her that his motivation was not malicious.

But he will receive competition from Steffy and Thomas. Of course, Eric will have the final word on the matter but he is also being manipulated.
Quinn is buzzing in his ears and it looks like Rick will not have his dream fulfilled. His father will let him down at the behest of Quinn. And though she seems to be having an affair with him, it cannot be denied altogether that her real motive is to annoy Steffy.
