'Born This Way' has been a revolutionary series since the beginning of its Season 1. It offers an affectionate look at the lives of the young men and the women who are born with Down syndromes. Therefore, A & E Network's critically praised and award-winning original series 'Born This Way' returns this July for a second season. It will feature 10 new episodes.
Produced by Bunim or Murray productions, the series cast includes a group of seven young adults who were born with the Down syndrome and also their family and friends living in Southern California. During its first season, the viewers of the show rose by about 67 percent. Recently, the series has been chosen as one of the six honorees for the Television Academy Honours 2015. It is an award, which recognizes the television programming that encourages, informs and motivates.
'Born This Way' implements a devoted look at them as they seek their passions and lifelong dreams, delve into the friendships, romantic relationships, their work and all the while confront the society's expectations. Elaine Frontain Bryant, the EVP and the Head of Programming for A&E Network said that- 'This remarkable and inspiring series personifies the quality original programming that A&E strives to bring to their viewers." By honoring and enfolding the diversity on television, 'Born This Way' is uniquely redefining the art of honest storytelling and also altering the way society views individuals with differences.
The series not only gives voice to the parents but also allows them to talk about the satisfaction their son or daughter brings to their family.
In the upcoming season, the young adults and their families will keep up to live their lives along with a fresh and genuine prospect. As the series swoops deeper into their personal independence and relationships together, with new friends within their community, will also be showcased on the show.
