George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin is reportedly considering giving up her illustrious career as a high profile human rights lawyer at Doughty Street Chambers to pursue a career in the rampway.
The 38-year old lawyer has been characterized as having impeccable taste of clothes whenever she is in front of the cameras with the Money Monster star and has since then gained attention with her celebrity status with sources labelling her as ''Kim Kardashian with a law degree.'
Amal's fashion sense, however, had gone farther than being just compared to Kim. This week, it has been reported that it has impressed Oscar de la Renta's creative director Peter Copping in a way that he wanted the human rights lawyer to become a co-consultant for his fashion line.
"Amal has long been obsessed with clothes, but she never considered working in the fashion industry. Since finding herself in the spotlight, she's collaborated with designers who have created custom-made pieces, and had a very hands-on role. She's love to develop these working relationships further, but doesn't want it to distract from her day job at Doughty Street Chambers. Her life is already one huge balancing act," a source said.
Further, de la Renta is not the only one who contacted Alamuddin to participate in modelling and to be the face in their brands.
"A number of fashion houses have contacted Amal about becoming the face of their brand."
The Tomorrowland actor has been open about how enthralled he is with his wife calling her 'the smart one' in one occasion. In another instance, he admired her wife for staying fashionable despite her busy schedule.
"It has been sort of fascinating to watch because she has such great taste," he once said.
A few weeks ago, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were harassed by a fan, Mark Bibbee, who sent a 189-page of 'rambling, delusional and disturbing' notes further making threats against eh actor and his lawyer wife.
"Orlando is a false flag event to cover for LGBT criminal & pedophiles," goes one of Bibbee's 'disturbing' references in his document.
Luckily, the court granted a restraining order demanding Bibbee to stay at least a hundred yards away from the A-list couple and their team. The court order also asked him to stop all means of contact with them.
