Minnesota looks to end their recent struggle on the road when they visit Wells Fargo Center on Monday. The Wild are 1-6-1 in their previous 8 road games and have been outscored 24-8 in that span, according to ESPN.
"When you put yourself in a hole, it's hard to get out of it when goals have been tough to come by and overall you're just not feeling good about the way we've been playing," Wild forward Zach Parise told reporters, via ESPN. "It's just been a frustrating stretch for us.
"We've got to find a way to score. That's the bottom line. We're not scoring. We're not giving ourselves a chance."
The Wild (20-13-5) have won just two of their last six games, including a 4-1 loss on Thursday to the Penguins. Jason Pominville leads the Wild with 17 goals, Ryan Suter leads with 21 assists and Mikko Koivu leads with 27 points.
Philadelphia (16-16-4), meanwhile, have won three of their last six games. The club is coming off a 6-3 loss on Saturday to the Blue Jackets and knows Monday is in important game to win at home with a lengthy road trip looming around the corner.
"It's going to be a big game for us," Flyers goalie Steve Mason said. "We can go into the Christmas break with a big win and carry that momentum through to our long road trip that we have coming up."
Matt Read has a team-high 10 goals, and Claude Giroux has team-highs with 22 assists and 31 points.
