Josh Duggar News, Updates and Rumors: Reality Star Used THIS Face To Cheat On Ashley Madison

Josh Duggar has another claim to fame (rather shame). He allegedly used pictures of another man to lure attractive women on Ashley Madison.

Los Angeles-based DJ and model Matthew James McCarthy has reportedly sought legal action against Josh Duggar and undisclosed damages. According to TMZ, McCarthy claimed in his filings Josh's actions have caused pain and hurt his close-knit catholic family. Duggar is accused of using McCarthy's images as OkCupid, Twitter and Ashley Madison profile pictures.

Describing Josh's use of his images as 'extreme and outrageous', McCarthy alleged the reality star's actions resulted in loss of work and earned him nicknames including 'DJ Duggar' and 'Duggar's boy toy'. He further accused Josh of causing "prolonged pain and suffering, anxiety, depression, embarrassment, humiliation, loss of self-esteem and extreme and severe mental anguish and emotional distress including but not limited to frequent panic attacks, disruption of sleep and insomnia, mood changes, fits of anger, a loss of interest in pursuing both professional and personal endeavors, and a complete loss of self-confidence," People Magazine reported.

Josh Duggar made headlines last year when allegations of child molestation surfaced. Following Ashley Madison hack, he became its first celebrity victim; it was revealed Josh operated two accounts on the platform that facilitates extra-marital flings. He later confessed to cheating on his wife Anna Duggar and felt 'disgusted' about leading a dual life. Josh returned home earlier this year after a six-month rehab stint.

Interestingly, when word of Josh using his pic made news, McCarthy did not seem too worried about it but he did urge Josh to 'turn his life around' and 'stop using his pictures'. McCarthy told Gawker last year, "If I could tell him anything, I would say, "Man, turn your life around. Stop lying, stop cheating, stop pretending to be other people. Just stop."
