Fast and Furious star Dwayne Johnson shocks his Instagram followers as he rants in his social media page taking a dig at some unnamed Fast and Furious 8 male co-star.
The 44-year old actor who is known for his outgoing and friendly posted an acidic note in the midst of his his followers in the heights of the movie production's final week.
"This is my final week of shooting 'Fast and Furious 8.' There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em," he posted on Instagram.
The post, however, took a different turn when he aired his thoughts about his male co-stars.
"My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken (bleep) to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses."
The sequel is surely to feature Furious originial stars--Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Tyrese, Ludacris and this year's addition Scott Eastwood. And, even without mentioning any names, sources are now speculating that Johnson is hitting at Eastwood and is the one whom he referred as a 'candy ass.'
The 30-year old can also be remembered throwing shade at other Furious co-stars for going back to their trailers after filming and left him feeling excluded from the group. His dad, Clint Eastwood, then advised to do what the others did.
"I'm on this Fast and the Furious movie right now, and everyone goes back to their trailer. I stick around and say, 'Why are you setting up the shot like this?' I want to learn," he once said.
Reportedly, both male and female co-stars have ben reacting negatively to Johnson's post and as one unnamed source said,"This is a hell of a way to end it."
The post may also be a reflection of more conflicts on set with the actor's 'extreme egos.'
Fast and Furious 8 is slated to hit UK theaters in April 14, 2017.
