In a recent report, iPhone 7 will incorporate the dual camera technology, making its image quality much better and sharper for a smartphone. Moreover, there is also news that the upcoming handset will get rid of the much rumored headphone jack. Users seem unhappy with this news, for obvious reasons, as this will make most of the headphones incompatible with the latest Apple iPhone.
The users will have to use the Bluetooth to connect their earphones or headphones with their mobile phones. Additionally, they can also use the lightning port to connect their earphones with their iPhones. The company has decided to do away with the headphone jack so that they can make room for an extra speaker and improve the speaker volume, reports indicate.
The other notable changes expected in the forthcoming iPhone 7 include overhaul of the home button. iPhone 7 will ditch the home buttons that physically press into the phone to incorporate vibration sensor. Despite these changes, the screen size of iPhone 7 will remain 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, same as 6s and 6s Plus, respectively.
While the feature update comes from a credible source, the news regarding iPhone 7 release date is still unclear. Rumor has it that the handset will be announced sometime next month so that iPhone 7 creates enough buzz to be ready for the holiday season purchase.
Now that Samsung Note 7 is grabbing lot of eyeballs, literally, with its iris-scanning technology, Apple has to gear up with exciting features too to increase their declining market share and keep their customers loyal to the Apple brand.
