Selena Gomez is reportedly dating rapper Romeo Miller aka Lil Romeo. According to the gossip site MediaTakeOut.com, a source confirmed the romance saying that Romeo has been trying to land a date with Gomez ever since she split from Justin Bieber last year.
'[Romeo] has been asking her out over and over. She's always shut him down... but she's not shutting him down anymore," the source said.
The source claims the two have "hung out" together with some friends but things don't seem to be too serious even though the 24-year-old rapper recently uploaded a picture of Gomez to his Instagram page.
In the photo, a curly-haired Gomez is seen wearing the rapper's "Romeo Everything" sweatshirt as she looks away from the camera. He captioned the picture "I live for the nights that I can't remember with the people that I won't forget. #romeeverything."
Back in August, TMZ asked Master P's son what he wanted for his 24th birthday and he said a date with the "Stars Dance" singer would be the perfect birthday gift.
"A hot date with Selena Gomez, make that happen," he responded to the question.
"Selena, she's like the girl version of me, man," he continued. "She's amazing. I think it would be perfect."
Awww, how sweet! Maybe Gomez and Romeo would make the perfect couple but there's one little problem, Romeo is good friends with Bieber. Also this isn't the first time Romeo has reportedly tried to date a girl Bieber was linked to.
According to Bossip, in September, the rapper was spotted on a movie date with model Ashley Moore one month after she and the "Boyfriend" singer was photographed together. Over the summer Biebs and Moore were seen enjoying lunch in Beverly Hills. It was speculated that they were a new item but a source told Hollywood Life that the two were just friends.
"It was far from a date feel, as he never touched her and there was no flirting or PDA at all," the source said. "It was really a friends afternoon out. He showed her videos and pictures from his phone but it seemed like a business meeting more than a date."
