In a recent picture, actor Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, has revealed a new black suit. In all probability, the superhero will be donning a black suit in the forthcoming "Justice League" movie.
According to reports, the photo might be an indication that the storyline of the upcoming movie will be from the comic book. Titled, "The Death and Return of Superman," the comic book was released in the year, 1992-1993 and the story had the death of the superhero in a battle with Doomsday, which gave fans a huge shock.
Post the superhero's death, the comic world had four individuals posing as Superman. However, Superman returned later and he was seen wearing the dark uniform with the metallic 'S,' which is similar to the one that Cavill had in his Instagram photo.
After the release of the photo, it is being speculated that the upcoming Justice League movie will have the storyline similar to the comic book. Well, the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," had the plot revealed as the end of the movie saw the death of Superman, as he sacrificed himself fighting the monster.
But, hints were given to indicate that Superman will be back. The last scene had dirt rising from his grave and it is likely that when the superhero returns, he will be donning the black suit, just like the comic book.
Moreover, Warner Bros. has also been trying to adapt the death of Superman in a movie for quite a long time. Reports suggest, they wanted Superman to sport the black costume unlike the blue and red one which he conventionally wears. And, it seems that they will successfully execute their plan now.
However, it is not known how the fans will take the transformation of Superman to the black costume. For long, Zack Snyder and team have been dealing with the anger of fans regarding the dark and moody Superman. It remains to be seen, how fans accept the color change of Superman's costume in the DC extended universe.
