This New Year's Eve, Luann de Lesseps of "Real Housewives of New York City" will tie the knot with fiancé Tom D'Agostino. Lesseps has everything planned but she intends to steer away from the curse that the housewives of the show have been through.
According to reports, the 49-year-old star is keeping a tab on all the wedding arrangements that are in progress and Lesseps' ultimate plan is to make the evening memorable. Celebrations of the wedding will start with a cocktail party that is planned to be held on a private yacht followed by a traditional wedding which will be headed by a catholic priest.
It is interesting to note that it has not been more than a month since D'Agostino proposed the fashion designer. And, Lesseps is desperately waiting for the day when she will walk down the aisle with D'Agostino at the Palm Beach, Florida. Moreover, her fiancé will turn fifty on the same day and this has further heightened the excitement level.
It is worth mentioning here that previously, Lesseps was married to the French count Alexandre de Lesseps. She had eloped with him in 1993, but in 2009, they separated. So, this will be Lesseps' second marriage. However, this time, she is treading the path cautiously and making all the efforts that will ensure that their marriage works.
Reportedly, Lesseps has said that she finds D'Agostino adorable but, he is a private person and so they have decided to make the wedding a private affair and not a televised one.
Talking about her fellow housewives, she stated that the women do not have a lot happening in their lives and this is the reason they are talking more about divorce or their personal lives. But, she feels that family comes before anything else and it is not the right thing to wash one's dirty laundry on television.
