Two former Coldwell Banker real estates agent are currently being sued for allegedly keeping buyers away so that they could use their clients' home for their own "sexual escapades," The Star-Ledger reports.
The clients, Richard and Sandra Weiner, claim that former Passaic County Board of Realtors presiden Robert Lindsay and fellow former agent Jeannemarie Phelan intentionally listed their Denville, N.J. home above market value to keep potential buyers away from Dec. 27, 2011 to Jan. 23, 2012. Home security cameras caught Lindsay and Phelan engaging in sexual activity during 10 different visits to the house over the two-year period, according to NorthJersey.com.
"Lindsay used his position at Coldwell to obtain for himself and Phelan a place to have sex [and] listed the house above market value to avoid Realtor traffic in the home while he and Phelan carried on their trysts," the lawsuit states.
After Sandra Weiner spotted two strangers with flashlights on her home security cameras, she called the police, who, according to the suit, opened the door to the house and found Lindsay pulling up his pants... Lindsay lied to police by telling them that he was there to prepare the house for an open house. ... Instead, Lindsay and Phelan were at the house to have sex."
Coldwell Banker has since fired both agents due to misconduct.
