The trailer for Brad Pitt's upcoming movie, 'Allied' is finally out this week leaving a streak of positive remarks which prompted some speculations that Marion Cotillard, the actor's co-star and alleged lover, may be up for an Oscar Award. Will this make Angelina Jolie jealous?
Sources cannot help but compare 'Allied' with Brad and Angie's 'By The Sea' considering that they are both set in World War II. The latter, however, was previously mocked by critics as being 'one of the worst movies of all time' for its 'lackluster performance.'
Now, here comes 'Allied'. a movie centered on the story of two assassins, Brad and Marion, who fall in love but have to make a crucial choice as one is found out to be a double agent and should be killed. Familiar?
Yes, critics also drew out a resemblance between 'Allied' and the couple's 2005 blockbuster Mr. and Mrs. Smith where they first met. But then, after the box office hit, no film has been at par with its fame with Jolie not even ranked to receive an Oscar win.
The filming of 'Allied' was previously accompanied by infidelity rumors with sources claiming that Pitt and the French actress were 'hooking up when not working.' Some even reported to have seen the pair sharing a kiss in public.
The rumors, however, remained as they are--rumors without further proof. The recent rumor of Jolie getting jealous for Cotillard's possible Oscar win was even debunked as a 'non-sense' report and 'has no truth.'
Also, the source pointed out that the brunette beauty also has her share of successes in Hollywood considering the success of the well-received Disney film Maleficent and Kung Fu Panda 3.
News hounds were also on the lookout for the truthfulness of the prevailing divorce rumors between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. However, in a recent interview, the actor can only tell about the good things about how 'supportive' his wife is towards his career. Also, he talked about how they lived a pretty normal life with his six kids.
To date, it has been rumored that Pitt and Jolie is considering adopting a seventh member of their brood. The truthfulness of such reports, however, is yet to be investigated.
