"Arrow" fans are still anxiously waiting for their Starling city hero to return in 2014. Among those fans are "Olicity" shippers who are still reeling from the last two episodes of Season 2's first half. Shippers saw Barry and Felicity get closer, Oliver get jealous, Barry realize Felicty's feelings for Oliver and Barry eventually back off. (Although he did tell Felicity if she ever stopped liking rich superheroes, she should give him a call.)
Based upon these events, Olicity fans can probably draw both good and bad things from the midseason finale -- some in their favor and some not so much.
Therefore, it's likely shippers are anxious to see what happens next for Oliver and Felicity. Well, according to TVGuide.com, you won't have to wait long.
"The fallout from Episode 9 carries over into the next episodes as far as the Oliver and Felicity relationship is concerned," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently told the website. "Barry has had a profound effect on them, and that will carry through."
When the show returns next year, Oliver will be focused on the catching the man in the skull mask -- otherwise known as Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood. (Something we know but Oli does not.) By the way, doesn't it seem from the video below that Oliver is protecting Laurel from Blood?
Also, it appears Roy is discovering he's now a little bit stronger than he was before his kidnapping.
"Arrow" returns Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 8/7c on The CW.
