‘High School Musical 4’ To Premiere, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens May Return

"High School Musical 4" is finally happening and it is being expected that the original cast, Zac Efron, and Vanessa Hudgens will make a cameo appearance as their characters Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez. It is expected that the show will premiere by the end of this year or sometime in 2017.

It is pretty exciting news for the fans but an official announcement from Disney network is yet to come. However, Gary Marsh, the president of the channel has confirmed that "High School Musical 4" is happening for sure, according to reports.

Marsh has stated that High School Musical defines Disney Channel's and they are excited as the new class of East High Wildcats takes the fourth season of "High School Musical" ahead.

However, Marsh has not revealed anything about the original Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez, played by Efron and Hudgens. In other news it is being said that the duo might be back as the vocal coaches, but, it is yet to be confirmed.

Talking about the plot, it is being said that the story will be around a love triangle and the East High Wildcats will be pitted against the West High Knights. Meanwhile, Ashley Tisdale, who played the character of the mean kid, Sharpay Evans, has shown her reluctance to be a part of "High School Musical 4." But, rumors suggest that she might be a part of the show as Mrs. Darbus' assistant.

In a recent interview, Tisdale had mentioned that Sharpay is an awesome character that she played, but at the end of the day, she is just a character.
