'Xiaomi Mi Air Notebook' News Update: Is it going to be better than MacBook Pro 2016?

Since the day of its launch, Chinese tech firm Xiaomi has been creating history and stunning people with its next generation innovative products. Now, prior to the release of Apple's new MacBook Pro 2016, Xiaomi has strategically launched its own, Xiaomi Mi Air Notebook.

But there is a reason why the company has launched its own notebook prior to Apple's product. According to Xiaomi's official site, the new upgraded specs of Xiaomi Mi Air Notebook are comparable with that of Apple's upcoming and high anticipated product, Macbook Pro 2016.

It is a thin, light weight and high-performance laptop and also has a full HD display, Game n Guide reports. In fact, the laptop looks excellent with a slim metal body and a narrow border. The device comes with 256 GB SSD and 8GB RAM, which makes it an ideal laptop for gaming purpose as well.

If the upgraded specs were not enough, this news may excite Xiaomi fans even more - the new laptop has 9.5 hours of battery life, which is much more than any of its competitor notebooks and laptops. In addition to long battery life, the all new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air runs on sixth generation Intel Core i5 processor.

Gaming fans can take a sigh of relief as Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air can easily run graphic-intensive games with a maximum 116 PPI display and a 1080p full HD resolution. On the other hand, the new MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to have 40 to 500 PPI display and 226 PPI on all the previous versions.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air has a reserves 1 megapixel for making 720p video calls. This is the same in case of MacBook Pro 2015, however, the specs are expected to upgrade in MacBook Pro 2016.

Another advantage of Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air over MacBook Pro 2016 is in terms of the total costing. According to Xiaomi's website, their new notebook is available at $999, which is much cheaper than Apple's product. MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to cost between $1,119 and $2,099, based on the features.
