According to a recent Twitter post, "Game of Thrones" cast is all set to start setting up their their filming location in Ireland. From the looks of it, the workers seem to putting together the Dragonpit in King's Landing. The books reveal that the Targaryens built these pits to house their pet dragons, long before they became extinct. But today, it has been left in ruins after all these years.
Reports indicate that this particular set in Ireland could mean Daenerys' arrival in King's Landing in the next season, where she will first go to her family's old kingdom. In season 6 finale, the viewers could see that Daenerys and her army is now crossing the Narrow Sea to reach King's Landing where Cersei currently sits on the Iron Throne. It waits to be seen what the queen will do once Mother of Dragons arrive at her gates with a large army and three full size dragons.
Some avid "GoT" theorists even speculate that season 7 will see a reunion between Arya Stark and Jon Snow. Rumor says that after Snow learns about his sister's acts in season 6 finale, he will send men to find her. It is also speculated that it is Brienne who will accidentally find the young fiery Arya Stark.
However, it is important to note that the show is no longer following the book and the storylines have changed significantly. The fans can not only expect to see new storylines but also new characters on the show, as was revealed by the latest casting call.
Meanwhile, the production team has moved the show air date to summer 2017 so that they can take advantage of the cold season as the finale revealed that the winter has finally come.
