[VIDEO] Duggar Update: Jinger And Jeremy Know Their Courtship Rules, But Will They Toe The Line?

The Duggars do have their own weird set of guidelines regarding courtship and marriage, and a sneak preview of Tuesday's "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" has their sister, Jinger Duggar, talking about her courtship with Jeremy Vuolo.

In the video you can watch here, at first, in Season 2, episode 2 video clip, you find Jinger and Jeremy dropping into Jessa and Ben Seewald's house. They declared that they were "officially courting".

That made Ben, Jinger's brother-in-law, curious. Did they find out about their courtship guidelines, he asked.

That did seem a bit odd, as Jessa had broken a number of courtship rules related to hugging and holding hands, so they did not seem to be the role models for the currently engaged pair.

Still, Jeremy agrees that they did follow the rules.

"I have a desire to save really the physical for marriage," the 28-year-old pastor says and 22-year-old Jinger agrees. "I think we both understand that there are temptations and if we open a lot of doors physically then the time spent together basically becomes a time of saying, 'OK we can't cross this line' or 'We can't cross this line', and it becomes difficult."

However, Jinger says that she doesn't go by anything specific. While the rules specify only side hugs, she is clear that they prefer not to stick too much to the rulebook. "I think it's different for each person. It's not a cookie cutter," she says. "Just praying about those things and not necessarily, you don't have to have it all listed as a set of rules, but just a general idea and letting the people around you know."

Still, even though Jeremy agrees that he knows all about the courtship process and even agrees that it is a huge, "exciting next step," both of them ask Jinger's older sister Jill Dillard and her husband Derick. In the TLC synopsis for episode 2, the viewers can check out the couple asking for "courtship advice" from the Seewalds, while Jeremy attends his "first meal" with the members of the family.

There is more to come, with the older Duggars following a "wilderness survival training course", even as Ben and Jessa move on to another plan for "youth outreach."

However, "Counting On" is quite straitlaced. Even though they two are engaged, they have not finalised their wedding date.
