Actor Chris Hemsworth might replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond. What is more, stuntman Bobby Holland Hanton has endorsed him, thereby, bolstering his candidature.
According to reports, the "Thor" star might leave the franchise to become the secret agent, James Bond. Though he has not confirmed that he is retiring from the superhero franchise, rumors have started doing the rounds. According to the edition, Hemsworth has also received support from Hanton, the award-winning stunt coordinator.
He has said that the actor is "in a league of his own" and declared him "head and shoulders" above his rivals. Explaining further, Hanton revealed that at present he is busy in the shooting of "Thor: Ragnarok." The film stars Hemsworth along with Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba. The other two actors are also in the running for the role of the next 007, but Hemsworth seems to be ahead in the competition, thanks to Holland's support.
According to the stuntman, Hemsworth would be perfect and it is not because he is biased. The reason for favoring the actor is that he has a remarkable English accent and he has also got it all when it comes to physique. Though Hiddleston also trained hard in his gym, he could not outdo Hemsworth. Holland categorically stated that he enjoys working with Hemsworth as he is athletic.
In the meantime, the 33-year-old Australian actor has also expressed a desire to become the secret agent, reports state. Recently, he was asked if he would be interested in taking the responsibility, he admitted that it would be daunting and scary but he was game for it, saying that everything is challenging at first.
It is worth mentioning here that filming for the next Bond series is still on hold and there is no distributor as of now, who is ready to handle the film. Producer Barbara Broccoli is concentrating on other movies and she is eager to bring Daniel Craig back. However, it looks impossible as Craig has said that he is done with Bond and wants to move on.
