She said she never addressed gossip before as she did not like to waste her energy on business of lies.
However, the 47-year-old actress explained that she wanted to participate in a larger conversation regarding the gossip of her pregnancy. Since she was not on social media, she would like to put her thoughts in writing.
"For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I'm fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of 'journalism,' the 'First Amendment' and 'celebrity news'," she said clearly in her article entitled "For the Record."
Another recent gossip is the possibility of third party in their marriage. This time Brad Pitt was suspected to be that person. Pitt's marriage with Angelina Jolie was also rumored to be in trouble as well.
However, the gossip was proven wrong, as the relationship between Pitt and Jolie remain strong after 10 years. The pair just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in a romantic evening at the Beverly Hills Hotel, as reported by Us Weekly. Pitt and Jolie was reported to have dinner and spend the night together at the hotel without their children.
