In response to a number of Freedom of Information requests, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is making its report on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's apparent mishandling of official and confidential information on her e-mail server. According to the agency, classified data have been improperly stored or transmitted on a personal e-mail domain she used during her tenure. It is perceived that this development will give the Trump presidential campaign a needed push after falling behind the Democratic Presidential Candidate for months.
According to the notes released by the FBI, Clinton has repeatedly told the Bureau that she couldn't remember details and events associated with classified information protocols. The law enforcement agency Director James Comey has testified before Congress that more than six dozen e-mail clusters have classified data. The report has also shown several hacking attempts on the senator's server although there is no ground that the attacks have penetrated the domain. Still, the narratives have suggested that Clinton has acted extremely careless. At this point, it is enough that Donald Trump and his supporters will portray the former First Lady's character as dishonest and unethical thereby concluding that she is unfit to sit at the Oval Office. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus has called the findings a devastating indictment of Clinton's judgment.
In the midst of the investigation being made public, it is confounding to know that the Senator's group has been pleased with the release. Brian Fallon, Clinton's national press secretary, has pointed out that his superior has taken responsibility for the mistake that she had done. In addition, Clinton has told the FBI that her private server has been used for convenience alone and it was never intended to evade public record laws. Inquiries have also showed that the Senator consulted former Chief of the Joint Chiefs Colin Powell about using her Blackberry. The former top military leader has warned the Presidential Candidate that work-related e-mails on her phone can become public record. Clinton has repeatedly denied sending or receiving classified information on her private system. The government forbids handling such information outside secure channels.
